Heavy Duty Double Shaft Shredder for Waste Treatment

An industrial shredder is a heavy-duty machine that uses rotating shafts fitted with hardened steel knives to tear, cut and size-reduce bulky waste — including scrap metal, end-of-life vehicles, plastics, wood, tires, e-waste and MSW — into uniform fragments ready for downstream sorting, recycling or energy recovery.

Material is fed into the cutting chamber, gripped by the slow-speed, high-torque rotors and shredded between fixed and moving knives at 15–35 rpm. A bottom screen (on single-shaft and granulator models) controls final output size from 20 mm to 300 mm, while four-shaft shredders deliver a precise, pre-set particle size without a screen.
