A recycling baler is a hydraulic press that compresses loose recyclable materials — such as cardboard, paper, plastic film, PET bottles and aluminium cans — into dense, uniform bales for easier storage, transport and resale.

Material is loaded into the feeding chamber, then compacted by the main hydraulic cylinder at 20–60 tons (vertical) or 40–200 tons (horizontal) of pressing force. The finished bale is automatically tied with steel wire or PET strap and ejected, ready for direct shipping to paper mills, plastic recyclers or smelters.
