Our hydraulic briquetting presses follow a simple four-step process to transform loose metal chips into dense, valuable briquettes.
Chip Loading
Loose metal chips, turnings, or swarf are fed into the briquetting machine’s hopper — manually, by conveyor, or via automatic chip transport system.
Hydraulic Compression
The hydraulic ram applies up to 1000 tons of force, compressing loose chips into a dense cylindrical or rectangular briquette in a single high-pressure stroke.
Coolant Extraction
During compression, cutting fluid and coolant are squeezed out and collected in the integrated recovery tank. Up to 95% of coolant is reclaimed for reuse.
Briquette Ejection
The finished briquette is automatically ejected and conveyed for collection. Dense briquettes are ready for storage, transport, or direct furnace charging.
